Monte-Carlo and the world of fashion will not stop for COVID 19. How did you come up with the idea of moving an event like the Monte-Carlo Fashion Week to the digital world? In this emergency situation a series of reflections has imposed itself. From sustainability to the rationalization of production, through creativity and the consequences of the pandemic: fashion does not stop and discusses a new chapter of its future in an interactive way. So we decided to keep the original dates of the Monte-Carlo Fashion Week and to go digital and have a new format adapted to the web, inaugurating a new way of doing fashion.
For years, the event has been carrying out a great commitment to eco-sustainability, a very topical issue in this emergency situation. Will you talk about it in your meetings? The leitmotif that will accompany the participants of the event is their commitment to sustainability, ethics and awareness: a real eco-awareness that translates into a respectful attitude towards the environment, that makes a difference, especially in the current moment, reflecting the need for a change that is more necessary than ever. According to the kermesse philosophy, the protagonists are the names of the national and international fashion scene that have made innovation and sustainability the key to their success and which will make it the subject of captivating and interactive meetings during digital live talks that, from 14th to 18 of May, will characterize the online edition of the fashion week.

The “Chambre Monégasque de la Mode” has always highlighted a scouting character by emphasizing what the brands have done with real prizes, the Famous MCFW Fashion Awards.
